This report allows you to view summary results by school(s) and teacher(s) for a single district custom assessment. By generating the report for each school in the district, you can view school performance compared to the overall district average as well as an item analysis. This report is intended for district and site administrators.
1. Navigate to the Reports tab then click Assessment in the menu options on the left.
School - If you have permissions at multiple schools, select which school you would like to run this report for.
Classes - All Classes is automatically selected. Use the dropdown to select your class(es); or,
Selected Students - click this to pick specific students for this report.
Under Filter:
Custom Groups - All Custom Groups is automatically selected. Use the dropdown to select a specific Custom Group(s); or,
Choose Demographics - select specific grade levels, genders, races, and other characteristics of students you would like included in the report. Click Apply.
Give your report a name
Choose to Summarize By Selected Students or Individual Students
Selected Students: This totals all of the data for all of the students you selected and reports it by grade level.
Individual Student: This shows summary data for each individual student, as well as totals.
If desired, check the box(es) for:
Results by Teacher: Add an additional view of the results listed by teachers.
Item Analysis: Add an additional view of the item results to assist with analyzing the fidelity of your district items.
Select your Date Range
6. A preview of your report will appear! Click PDF in the top right to print or download the report, or click the back arrow on the left to return to the settings if changes needed to be made.
As you read the data, notice the following:
How is the school performing on the assessment? If you ran the report for each school, which schools have the highest scores? Which schools have the lowest scores?
How does each school's performance compare to the district average?
View the number of students who answered each question correctly within each school group. Are certain questions performing better than others?
Compare how each teacher is performing in comparison to other teachers within their school.
View how each question is performing on the assessment. What percentage of the students answered each question correctly? Is there one distractor that is being chosen by the majority of the students?
